About me 

My name is Akshit Negi, I come from a place in India where hospitality is not just about the food, but creating an atmosphere that provides comfort and a genuine connection to everyone involved . My passion for cooking came from watching my parents cook food with love and intention, a kitchen is a place for me where flavors, tradition and emotions can blend into something special.  Throughout my travels in various parts of India, I always liked tasting new food, and developing appreciation. Now having the opportunity to be in Canada, my vision to venture and explore into new experiences and cuisines have only started to take it's place.

Although, I was a student of Bachelor of Arts in Delhi,  I came to realize that Culinary felt like an natural extension of myself and  may just be the right place for my personal and professional growth, which has lead me to pursue Culinary Management from Durham College.

Culinary Philosophy 

My culinary philosophy is to create what I create in a way that is special, to myself, and the guest, it is a form of artistic expression that lets me blend in my emotions, creativity and serve food in a way that shows genuine connection. Food is a gateway to learn other cultures and is an ever learning process, and I see cooking as both artistic and hard labor, fueled by passion, love and refining complexities into simplicity.
